Desyre d.o.o.

Desyre d.o.o. was founded in 1992 in Nedeljanec, on the address Poljska 35, where its headquarters are to this day. From its inception the company has dealt with import and distribution of quality seed potatoes from Holland (HZPC Holland). In addition to that, the company deals with agricultural production on 25 hectares of open space, and on 2000 square meters of enclosed space. They purchase, process and package agricultural products, especially potatoes.

In 2002 the company invested in a business space where they opened their first grocery store and farming chemicals shop. Today they run 4 stores of mixed goods and 3 farming chemicals shops, selling products to all parts of Croatia and also abroad. Desyre d.o.o., which started with only one employee, now employs 28 people in total.

The company extensively takes care about ecology and reusable sources of energy, and has accordingly invested in a 30 KW solar power plant in 2012. Besides that, they have successfully applied to 3 competitions for European pre-accession funds IPARD, and have pulled money from European funds in 2012, 2011 and 2015, that they have invested in their company’s business.
