Biofert is a trade engaged in the production of sweet potato seedlings abd tubers. DI agr. Željko Markušić is in charge for the production and sales.
We are dealing with the production of sweet potato seedlings. We produce about 2 million seedlings per year which we mainly export. We are the largest producer of sweet potato seedlings in Croatia and among the largest in Europe. We also produce sweet potato on a surface of 25ha of open cultivated areas and we produce around 500 tons per year.
Along with company we have family farm producing 2 Ha of EKO sweet potatoe.
