Boris Vrhovski is the owner of the family farm ZAGORSKI PURAN, which has been breeding Zagorje turkeys for 20 years. He is the founder of the cooperative and the association as a basis for initiating the process of protection of the geographical origin of Zagorje turkeys at the national level, and later at the European level.
After obtaining the quality label, it continuously places the Zagorje turkey product on the market with a protected geographical indication. The holding has a registered poultry and lagomorph slaughterhouse on the holding of origin.
Breeding and the entire production are done by close family members. With the aim of diversifying our business, we turn to tourism and offer guests and groups the opportunity to visit the farm, educational workshops, culinary shows, tasting rooms of Zagorje turkeys and the like.
