OPG Mesarić

We are Đurđica and Željko Mesarić and our family farm is located in Veliki Bukovac, a place that is 10 kilometres away from Ludbreg. Our independent production started in 2000 and even before that we grew up with flowers because our parents were dedicated to plant production. At the beginning of that journey, we invested everything we would earn in modernization and increase production so that today we have 5000 m² of indoor heated space and another 10000 m² of outdoor breeding space.

We are primarily engaged in growing flowers and throughout the year we produce over a hundred different species. In the spring, the most common are primroses, geraniums, surfinia, begonias, tagetes, water lilies, bakope, etc. Of the other species sold in other parts of the year, the most significant are pansies, chrysanthemums, cyclamen, poinsettias.

In addition to flowers, an important part of our production is herbs (basil, mint, oregano, parsley, etc.) and the cultivation of vegetable seedlings (tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, lettuce…)

In our production, the most important thing for us is the QUALITY of the plants we produce, and thus the satisfaction of our many customers throughout Croatia.

Sales of our products take place through retail and wholesale.

We sell a part of our production at the Dolac and Špansko markets in Zagreb, at numerous fairs throughout the country and through garden centres. The second part is sold through the company Tres-M-Flos d.o.o. which we established with several other manufacturers to jointly market goods in retail chains.

As a new step forward in the way we sell our products, we have opened an online store to keep up with modern technologies and to reach our plants to as many people as possible.
