OPG Željko Pecotić Baran is engaged in the production of white wine Pošip, red wine Pagadebit and olive oil. The vineyards of the Željko Pecotić Baran Winery stretch on the south side of the island of Korčula at an ideal altitude – in Smokvica, which is located in the heart of the island of Korčula in protected areas in the former state. They are exposed to the sun’s rays necessary for the cultivation of quality vines, especially Pošip (a white grape variety that is characterized by good and regular yields and high-quality grapes) and black grape varieties Pagadebit.
The vineyards are in full reproductive power, aged between 3 and 20 years. We are currently on 1.3 hectares of vineyards, and by counting we have reached the number of 10,000 vines.
